Preheat oven to 450° F.
In a large bowl, stir together flour, soda, and salt.
With two knives or pastry blender cut in butter until particles are fine.
Stir in sesame seeds.
Add buttermilk to flour mixture and stir with fork just until mixed.
Drop by the tablespoonful on greased baking sheet.
Bake in preheated oven about 12 to 14 minutes or until lightly browned.
