|Flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Buttermilk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
Cut in shortening.
Add milk at once and stir carefully until all is dampened.
Then stir until a soft dough.
Turn out on lightly floured board and knead it until stiff enough to roll out to 1 1/2inch thick.
Cut out biscuits with biscuit cutter.
Bake in 450° oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
