Plantation Ham And Biscuit
|Cooked ham slices||6|
|Brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Molasses||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Brown ham slices in 1 tablespoon margarine in large skillet.
Taffy sauce: Mix molasses, brown sugar and margarine in saucepan.
Cook over medium heat three or four minutes, stirring constantly.
Pour half the taffy sauce over ham in skillet and simmer one or two minutes.
Remove to large platter and surround with fresh baked biscuits.
Pass remaining sauce at table.
Decorate platter with jar of spiced crab apples, if desired.
