Buttery Harvard Beets

Ingredients
  Beets 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Cornstarch 4 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Cider vinegar 80 Milliliter
  Water 80 Milliliter
  Butter 3 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Microwave 6 to 8 medium-sized beets, as for Beets Nature.
When cooked and sliced, place them in a microwave-safe casserole dish.
Place the cornstarch and sugar in a microwave-safe bowl, mix well.
Add the remaining ingredients, mix well.
Microwave 3 minutes at MEDIUM-HIGH or until creamy and transparent.
Pour over the beets.
Stir until well mixed.
Microwave 1 minute at HIGH when ready to serve.
