Dr. Bob DeMaria suggests that his patients should eat Apples, Beets and carrots every day. You can lower cholesterol 13% with a daily apple and 40% with a least one-thrid cup of beets a day.
Ingredients
  Beets 10 Medium, peeled, chopped
  Olive oil/Rice bran oil/ coconut oil To Taste
  Balsamic vinegar To Taste
  Celtic sea salt To Taste
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

MAKING
2. In baking dish put the beets. Sprinkle with the oil, vinegar and salt to taste. Cover the beets with foil.
3. Bake in the preheated oven for around 1 hour or till the beets are fork tender.

SERVING
4. In a serving plate, serve the beets in salads or as a side to any meat dish of your choice.
