Microwave Harvard Beets
|White distilled vinegar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Beets||16 Ounce, sliced (Drain And Reserve)|
|Liquid||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
1. In a microwave glass casserole dish, mix all the ingredients except the drained beets. Cook covered on HIGH (9) for 5 minutes or until mixture thickens. Ensure that you stir once during cooking.
2. Add beets to the bowl and cook covered on HIGH (9) for 3 minutes or until beets are hot.
3. Serve hot
