|Canned small whole beets||2 Pound (2 Cans, 1 Pound Each)|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Lime juice||2 Tablespoon (Extracted From 2 Fruit)|
Drain beets, reserving liquid from 1 can.
Put liquid in saucepan.
Mix sugar and cornstarch and add to beet liquid.
Bring to boil, stirring.
Add beets and lime juice, heat through; stir in the butter.
Makes 6 servings.
