Harvard Beets

Eat healthy…vegetables are a great way in to bring in the goodness of nature into your diet. This Harvard beets recipe is really quick and easy to make and high on taste. Enjoy!!
Ingredients
  Canned diced beets 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Sugar 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Cornstarch 2 Tablespoon
  White vinegar 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Butter 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

MAKING
1) In a bowl, drain the beets reserving the liquid to measure ½ cup
2) In a saucepan mix the sugar and cornstarch
3) Add in the reserved beet juice and the vinegar and the salt
4) Bring the mixture to a boil and sit continually
5) Lower the flame and simmer for about 2minutes
6) Add the beets and simmer for 15 minutes longer
7) Add in the butter and serve immediately

SERVING
8) Serve warm
