Beet Casserole

Ingredients
  Beets 16 Medium
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Paprika 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Butter 3 Tablespoon
  Onion 1 Tablespoon, grated
  Water 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Directions

MAKING
1) Using a sharp knife, pare and then slice the beets
2) In a greased 7 inch baking dish, layer the beets on the bottom
3) Add the sugar, salt, paprika, lemon juice into the dish
4) Dot with butter, and then layer in the onion
5) Pour in the water over the top
6) Cover the dish with a tight fitting lid and bake in the oven for 30 minutes at 400F till the beets are tender

SERVING
7) Serve warm as an accompaniment
