Harvard Beets With Cloves

Mildly seasoned with spices, this Harvard beets with cloves is a quick and easy dish that you would love. Enjoy the goodness of fresh vegetables. You no longer need to compromise on taste while trying to eat healthy.
Ingredients
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Vinegar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cloves 3
  Sliced beets 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
Directions

MAKING
1) In a saucepan blend the cornstarch, sugar and salt
2) Mix together the vinegar and the water and slowly stir well
3) Over a low flame cook the mixture and stir continually till smooth and thickened
4) Tip in the cloves and the beets
5) Allow to stand in warm place for 30 minutes
6) Take out the cloves and tip in the butter

SERVING
7) Serve warm
