Beets A La Tosca

Ingredients
  Canned wholesome beets 10 Ounce
  Garlic salt To Taste
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), pressed
  Wine vinegar 1 Tablespoon
Directions

MAKING
1) Drain the beets over a bowl
2) Cling wrap the bowl and place in the refrigerator
3) Sprinkle in the garlic salt and then add the vinegar
4) Leave to rest for 2-3 hours at room temperature stirring once or twice
5) Place back in the refrigerator for at least a day
6) Place the beets in a serving dish and serve with some wooden picks

SERVING
7) Serve as an accompaniment
