Sweet Sour Beets

Ingredients
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cayenne pepper 1 Dash
  Pepper 1 Dash
  Vinegar 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Beet liquid 1 Cup (16 tbs), mixed
  Canned diced beets 1 Pound (Drained And Reserve Liquid)
Directions

MAKING
1) Take a casserole and combine sugar, cornstarch, salt, cayenne and pepper.
2) Blend in vinegar, liquid and beets and stir well.
3) Cover and cook for 6 minutes, stirring towards the last half of cooking time, till the mixture reduces and thickens slightly.

SERVING
4) Serve warm.
