Harvard Beets

Ingredients
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Vinegar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Wesson oil 2 Tablespoon
  Canned beets 16 Ounce, sliced (1 Can)
  Beet juice 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Mix sugar and cornstarch together.
Add vinegar, oil and juice from beets.
Cook about 5 minutes.
Add beets and simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes.
Serves 4.
