|Cooked sliced beets/32 ounce sliced canned beet , drained||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
In 1-quart saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
Add vinegar in slow, steady stream, stirring until well blended.
Add butter and onion.
Cook, stirring constantly over medium heat, until sauce has thickened and boils.
Reduce heat and simmer 1 minute.
Add beets and cook, stirring occasionally, just until heated through.
