Beets With Orange
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Cider vinegar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Orange||1 , grated rind and juice|
|Cooked small beets||3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs), drained (Or Canned)|
1. In a saucepan mix the sugar, cornstarch, salt, vinegar and water and bring to a boil. Stir until clear.
2. Stir in the orange rind and juice and the beets. Heat gently and, before serving, stir in the butter.
