Orange Glazed Beets
|Canned beets||16 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Caraway seed||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Orange juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Drain beets, reserving 1/3 cup liquid.
In saucepan combine sugar, cornstarch, caraway seed, and salt.
Stir in reserved beet liquid, orange juice, and margarine or butter.
Cook, stirring constantly, till mixture is thickened and clear.
Add beets; heat through.
