Celery Pickled Beets

Ingredients
  Canned sliced beets 16 Ounce (1 Can)
  Vinegar 2 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Celery seed 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Whole cloves 2
  Cinnamon stick 1 Small
Directions

Drain liquid from beets into 1-quart measure.
Set beets aside.
Add equal amount of water to beet juice.
MICROWAVE 1 to 2 MINUTES on HIGH, or until boiling.
Stir in sugar, salt, celery seed, cloves and cinnamon.
MICROWAVE 1 MINUTE on HIGH, or until sugar is dissolved.
Add beets.
Refrigerate at least 12 hours to blend flavors.
