Beets With Sour Cream

Ingredients
  Beets 1 Pound
  Dairy sour cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Milk 2 Tablespoon
  Green onion with tops 1 Tablespoon, sliced
  Vinegar 1 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cayenne 1 Dash
Directions

Peel and slice beets; halve slices.
Cook beets.
Drain.
Meanwhile, in small saucepan combine sour cream, milk, green onion, vinegar, sugar, salt, and cayenne.
Heat through over low heat, but do not boil.
Turn beets into serving dish; spoon sour cream mixture atop.
Stir to combine, if desired.
