|Canned sliced beets||1 Pound (1 Can)|
|Mixed pickling spices||1 Tablespoon|
|Cider vinegar||1 Tablespoon|
1. Drain liquid from beets into a small saucepan; add pickling spices and vinegar. Heat to boil; lower heat; simmer for 5 minutes.
2. Place beets in a small bowl. Strain beet liquid over and chill several hours.
