Special Pickled Beets

Ingredients
  Canned drained sliced beet/Whole beets reserve 1/3 cup liquid 2 Pound (1 Can Or 2 Cups)
  Sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Beef liquid/Water 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Vinegar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Pickling spice 1 Teaspoon
Directions

In 3 or 4-cup serving dish, combine drained beets, sugar, liquid and vinegar.
Tie pickling spice in piece of cheesecloth or nylon reinforced paper towel.
Add to beets.
Cook covered, 4 minutes or until mixture boils, stirring once.
Cool and remove pickling spices before serving.
Leftovers will keep several weeks in refrigerator.
