Diced Harvard Beets

Ingredients
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Dash
  Vinegar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Canned diced beets 16 Ounce (1 Can)
  Beet liquid 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Plus Water)
Directions

1. Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt and pepper in 1-quart glass casserole. Stir in vinegar and beet liquid. Add beets. Cover with glass lid or plastic wrap.
2. Microwave on REHEAT for 5 minutes. Stir and continue cooking on REHEAT for 4 to 5 minutes or unt
