Beets A L Orange
|Small whole beets||16 Ounce|
|Cornstarch||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Orange rind||1 Teaspoon, grated|
|Orange juice||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||3 Tablespoon|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Drain beets, reserving 1/2 cup liquid.
Dissolve cornstarch in reserved liquid; add orange rind, orange juice, lemon juice, and sugar.
Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until thickened and translucent.
Add beets and butter.
