|Cider vinegar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Beet juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Green onions||2 Small, sliced|
|Cooked beets||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs), sliced|
Boil together vinegar and beet juice for a few minutes.
Add honey, cloves, salt, peppercorns and bay leaf.
Heat to boiling.
Pour over onions and beets and allow to cool.
