Pickled Beets Using Spices
|Canned sliced beets||16 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Water||3 Cup (48 tbs) (As Required)|
|Celery seed||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Cinnamon stick||1 Small|
Drain liquid from beets into 1 quart measure.
Set beets aside.
Add equal amount of water to beet juice.
MICROWAVE 1 to 2 MINUTES on HIGH, or until boiling.
Stir in sugar, salt, celery seed, cloves and cinnamon.
MICROWAVE 1 MINUTE on HIGH, or until sugar is dissolved.
Refrigerate at least 12 hours to blend flavors.
