Microwaved Harvard Beets

Ingredients
  White distilled vinegar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Sliced beets 1 Can (10 oz), drained and reserve 1 cup liquid
Directions

In glass casserole dish, combine all ingredients except drained beets.
Cook on high (9) for 5 minutes or until mixture thickens; stir once during cooking.
Add beets.
Cover; cook on high (9) for 3 minutes or until beets are hot.
