Beer And Bratwurst
|Bratwurst/Other smoked sausage||1 Pound (6 To 8 Sausages)|
|Beer||24 Ounce (1 To 2 Cans, 12 Ounce Each)|
|Onions||2 Medium, sliced|
|Celery seed||1 Teaspoon|
In covered saucepan, gently simmer bratwurst, beer, onion, celery seed and bay leaf 5 minutes.
Remove from heat; let stand until ready to grill.
Drain off liquid.
Grill or broil bratwurst 3 to 4 inches from heat, about 3 minutes on each side.
Fry onions in butter until tender; serve with bratwurst
