Fiery Beer Hush Puppies

Ingredients
  Yellow cornmeal 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Regular)
  All purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Eggs 2 , beaten
  Beer 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Finely chopped onion 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Finely chopped jalapeno 2 Tablespoon
  Vegetable oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Deep Frying)
Directions

Combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a medium mixing bowl, stir well.
Add eggs, beer, onion, and jalapeno pepper, stir well.
Carefully drop batter by rounded teaspoonfuls into 1-inch-deep hot oil (365°), cook only a few at a time, turning once.
Fry 1 to 2 minutes or until hush puppies are golden brown.
Serve immediately.
