Beans With Beer

Ingredients
  Dry pinto beans/Dry red / pink beans 8 Ounce (1 1/4 Cups)
  Water 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Canned beer 12 Ounce (1 Can)
  Chopped onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Bacon slices 6
  Canned tomatoes 8 Ounce, cut up (1 Can)
  Snipped parsley/Snipped cilantro 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Crushed red pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

In large saucepan soak beans overnight in 4 cups water.
Do not drain.
Add beer and onion.
Bring to boiling; cover and simmer mixture for about 1 1/2 hours or till beans are tender.
Cook bacon till crisp; drain and crumble.
Add bacon to bean mixture along with undrained tomatoes, cilantro or parsley, salt, and crushed red pepper; cover and simmer 30 minutes more.
