Braised Oxtail

Ingredients
  Oxtail 1 , cut into 2 inch pieces
  Salt and pepper 1
  Fat 2 Tablespoon
  Onions 2 Small, sliced
  Carrot 1 , chopped
  Celery 1 Tablespoon, chopped
  Flour 2 Tablespoon
  Hot water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Tomatoes 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Bay leaves 3
  Whole cloves 3
Directions

Brown pieces of oxtail in fat.
Add onion, carrot and celery and cook until brown.
Sprinkle with browned flour.
Add hot water, tomatoes, bay leaves, cloves, salt and pepper.
Place in casserole and cook in moderate oven (350° F.) unrii very tender.
