Boiled Corned Beef
|Corned beef||6 Pound|
|Vinegar||1 Tablespoon (adjust quantity as needed)|
Cover meat with cold water and let stand 1 hour.
Drain and put into kettle with carrot and onion and enough cold water to cover.
Add 1 teaspoon vinegar for each quart of water.
Simmer until tender, 30 to 40 minutes for each pound.
Let stand in the liquid 20 minutes, then drain and rub butter over the meat
