|Lean ground beef||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Onion||1 Large, finely chopped|
|Olive oil/Butter||2 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), minced|
|Canned sliced mushrooms||4 Ounce, drained (1 Can)|
|Leaf oregano||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Frozen chopped spinach||5 Ounce, thawed and drained (1/2 Package)|
|Eggs||6 , beaten|
|Milk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), scalded|
|Grated sharp cheddar cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
In skillet, lightly brown ground beef and onion in olive oil; drain well.
Place in well greased crock pot.
Stir in remaining ingredients except eggs, milk and cheese until well blended.
Beat eggs and milk together.
Pour over other ingredients; stir well.
Dust with additional nutmeg.
Cover and cook on low setting for 7 to 9 hours or until firm.
Just before serving, sprinkle with grated cheese.
