All-In-One Dinner

Ingredients
  Ground beef 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Raw onion 1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced
  Green pepper 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
  Potatoes 2 Cup (32 tbs), sliced
  Celery 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped
  Canned tomatoes 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  American cheese slice 4
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Fry ground beef until brown, pour off excess fat.
Place alternate layers of ground beef and fresh vegetables in a greased casserole dish in order listed.
Add salt and pepper to each layer.
Pour canned tomatoes over all.
Top with cheese slices and dot with butter.
Cover casserole.
Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350° or until vegetables are done.
