|Ground beef||2 Pound|
|Onion||1 Medium, chopped|
|Sliced celery||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Coarsely chopped peeled apple||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Curry powder||3 Teaspoon|
|Instant beef bouillon||2 Teaspoon|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Canned mushroom stems and pieces||4 Ounce, drained (1 Can)|
|Bananas||2 , peeled and sliced|
|Hot cooked rice||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
Cook and stir meat and onion in large skillet until onion is tender.
Drain off fat.
Stir in celery, apple and curry powder; cook uncovered 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Stir in remaining ingredients except bananas and rice; heat to boiling.
Reduce heat and simmer uncovered about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Stir in bananas; cover and cook over low heat 5 minutes.
Serve over rice.
If you wish, garnish with crumbled crisply fried bacon or chopped peanuts.
