The Skillet Dinner is a mouth watering and filling dish which is often the limelight of any spread. The meat and vegetables in the dish is well flavored and irresistible. You cant miss this Skillet Dinner recipe!
  Bacon slices 8
  Hamburger 1 Pound
  Potatoes 4 Medium, sliced
  Carrots 4 , sliced
  Onions 2 Medium, sliced
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)

Line iron or electric skillet with bacon slices.
Crumble hamburger on top of bacon.
Next, spread potato slices on top of hamburger.
Add layers of carrots and onions.
Pour water over layers and cook until it bubbles.
Reduce heat and simmer 1 hour until done.
Hamburger will be red as it is steamed, but it is done.
