|Chopped shallots/Green onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Canned sliced mushrooms/1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced||8 Ounce (Drained)|
|Canned condensed beef broth||10 1⁄2 Ounce|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Teaspoon|
|Tomato paste/Tomato ketchup||2 Teaspoon|
|Dry red wine/Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Buttered noodles||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Combine 1/2 cup flour with the salt and pepper and toss with beef cubes to coat thoroughly.
Place in crock pot.
Add shallots and mushrooms.
Combine beef broth, worcestershire sauce and tomato paste.
Pour over beef and vegetables; stir well.
Cover and cook on low setting for 8 to 12 hours.
One hour before serving, turn to high setting.
Make a smooth paste of red wine and 3 tablespoons flour; stir into crock pot, mixing well.
Cover and cook until thickened.
