Ground Round One-Dish Meal
|Potatoes||2 Large, peeled|
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Rice||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), uncooked|
|Onion||1 , sliced|
|Carrots||2 , sliced|
|Tomato juice||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
Slice the potatoes into a buttered 8x11x2 inch baking dish.
Sprinkle with the pepper and 1/2 teaspoon of the salt.
Layer the rice and ground round over the potato layer.
Sprinkle with the remaining 1 teaspoon salt.
Layer the onion and carrots over the round steak layer.
Pour the tomato juice evenly over the carrot layer.
Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
