Beef And Carrot Casserole
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Minced onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Canned tomato sauce||16 Ounce|
|Sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cream style cottage cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sliced cooked carrots||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped parsley||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Medium noodles||8 Ounce (Cooked And Drained)|
|Shredded cheddar cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Melt the butter in a skillet.
Cook the ground beef in the butter.
When ground beef begins to brown, stir in the onion and garlic.
Finish browning the ground beef with the onion and garlic, stirring until crumbly; drain.
Stir in the tomato sauce, salt and pepper.
Simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes.
Combine the sour cream, cottage cheese, carrots and parsley in a bowl and mix well.
Add the noodles and mix well.
Layer the noodle mixture and beef mixture alternately in a buttered 3 quart baking dish until all the ingredients are used, beginning and ending with noodle mixture.
Top with Cheddar cheese.
Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
