Beef Madeira

This recipe for beef madiera is made with madiera wine or sherry with cubed, round beef steak. Cooked along with onions, carrots, capsicums and french beans, the beef madeira is slow cooked till the veggies are tender and meat is done and can be served with dinner rolls with steamed vegetables. Adapted from Sharp Microwave and Convection Cookbook.
Ingredients
  Round beef steak 750 Gram, cubed
  Plain flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Onion 1 Large, sliced
  Carrots 2
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), crushed
  Beef stock 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Madeira/Sherry 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Paprika 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  French beans 350 Gram, washed and sliced
  Green capsicum 1 , sliced
Directions

In a 2-3-litre casserole dish combine meat and flour-, mix well.2.
Add onions and carrots.

In a jug, combine garlic, beef stock, madeira or sherry, and paprika; stir well.
Pour over beef.

Cook for 1 hour on SLOW COOK.

Add beans and capsicum.
Cook for a further 1 hour on SLOW COOK or until beans are tender.
