Italian-Style Beef 'N Pasta
|Lean beef steaks||8 Ounce, cubed (4 Ounce Each)|
|Olive oil||1 Teaspoon|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Prepared spaghetti sauce||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Sliced mushrooms||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped basil/0.5 teaspoon. dried basil leaves, crushed||1 Tablespoon|
|Cooked linguini||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1 Tablespoon|
Heat oil in lg.nonstick skillet over medium low heat.
Add beef cubed steaks; pan broil to desired doneness, 3-4 minutes, turning once.
Season steaks with salt and pepper, ifdesired; add lemon juice.
Remove steaks; keep warm.
Cook spaghetti sauce, mushrooms and basil in sm.skillet, uncovered, 3 minutes or until hot.
Divide linguini between 2 plates; spoon half of sauce over linguini.
Place steaks on top of sauce; spoon remaining sauce over steaks.
Sprinkle steaks evenly with cheese.
Garnish with fresh basil.
