Quick Beef And Frank Chili
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Frankfurters||16 Ounce, bias sliced 1 inch thick (1 Package)|
|Canned red kidney beans||32 Ounce (Two 16 Ounce Can)|
|Canned tomato sauce||30 Ounce (Two 15 Ounce Can)|
|Canned tomatoes||28 Ounce, cut up|
|Chili powder||1 Tablespoon|
|Dry mustard||1 Teaspoon|
|Bay leaf||1 Large|
|Shredded american cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Corn chips||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
In Dutch oven cook ground beef till browned; drain off fat.
Stir in frankfurters, undrained kidney beans, tomato sauce, undrained tomatoes, chili powder, dry mustard, bay leaf, and 1 teaspoon salt.
Cover and simmer about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove bay leaf.
Serve in bowls; top individual servings with shredded american cheese, chopped onion, and corn chips.
