Beef Paprika Stew

Beef paprika is a cooked beef stew like preparation that is spicy and savory. Made with stew beef and flavored with burgundy wine along with paprika, bay leaf, garlic powder and worcestershire sauce, the beef paprika is finished with a simmer and best served with nice or noodles.
Ingredients
  Flour 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Monosodium glutamate 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Stew beef 2 Pound, cut in 2 in. cubes
  Shortening/Oil 3 Tablespoon
  Beef bouillon cubes 2
  Water/2 cup water plus 1 cup burgundy wine 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Paprika 2 Teaspoon
  Worcestershire sauce 1 Teaspoon
  Dry minced onion 1 Tablespoon
  Garlic powder 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Bay leaf 1
Directions

In a paper bag, combine flour, salt, pepper and monosodium glutamate.
Place beef in bag and shake, a few pieces at a time, until well coated.
In a large skillet, heat shortening; brown meat slowly on all sides over medium heat.
Remove meat from pan; place in a heavy saucepan.
Pour off excess fat fromfrypan; add remaining ingredients and simmer about 1 minute.
Pour over meat in saucepan, adding more liquid if necessary to cover meat.
Simmer slowly 3 to 4 hours until tender.
Serve over hot buttered noodles or rice.
