Home Made Glazed Corn Beef
|Corned beef||7 Pound|
|Onion||1 , sliced|
|Celery stalk||1 , cut up|
|Packed brown sugar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs) (Firmly Packed)|
|Prepared mustard||1 Tablespoon|
|Horseradish||1 Teaspoon, bottled|
|Catsup||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Cover beef with water, add pepper, onion, cloves and celery.
Simmer 4 hours and 30 minutes to 5 hours or until amost tender.
Remove from water and place in baking pan.
Combine sugar, mustard, horseradish, catsup, vinegar and butter in saucepan.
Stir over medium heat until blended and bubbly.
Spoon some sauce over meat.
Bake in 350-degree oven for 30 minutes or until tender.
Baste several times with remaining sauce.
