Spinach And Beef Dinner
|Onion||1 Medium, chopped|
|Mushrooms||6 , sliced|
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Frozen chopped spinach||10 Ounce|
|Sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Creamed cottage cheese||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Dill weed||1 Teaspoon|
|Garlic salt||1 Teaspoon|
|Ground black pepper||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Brown onion, mushrooms, and beef in shortening in a medium-sized, deep skillet.
Stir until meat loses its pink color.
Add frozen spinach as is.
Cook uncovered on medium heat until spinach has thawed and some of the liquid is absorbed.
Stir in sour cream and cottage cheese, mixing until all is heated but not boiling.
Add seasonings; mix well.
Let skillet stand until ready to serve.
Return skillet to heat for 2 or 3 minutes just before dinner is ready.
Serve with French bread and a salad.
