Beef Pot Roast

|Onion||1 , minced|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Heat shortening in cooker and brown the roast on all sides.
Add the seasonings and water in the order given.
Cover the cooker and set pressure control in place.
When the control is gently rocking, cook for 35 minutes.
Allow the pressure to drop naturally.
Remove the roast and slice for serving.
If gravy is wanted, thicken the essence left in the cooker.
