Sirloin Tips En Brochette

Ingredients
  Beef sirloin tip 2 Pound, cut into 1.25-inch cubes (High Quality)
  Condensed beef consomme 10 1⁄2 Ounce
  Sherry/Apple juice 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Soy sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), crushed
  Onion powder 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cornstarch 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
Directions

Place meat in ungreased baking dish, 13 1/2x9x2 inches.
Heat remaining ingredients except cornstarch to boiling.
Reduce heat; simmer uncovered 5 minutes.
Cool.
Pour consomme mixture over meat.
Cover tightly; refrigerate at least 3 hours, turning meat occasionally.
Thread 4 or 5 cubes of meat on each of 6 to 8 skewers.
In small saucepan, slowly stir consomme mixture intcornstarch.
Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils.
Boil and stir 1 minute.
Brush sauce on meat.
Set oven control at broil and/or 550°.
Broil meat 4 inches from heat 7 minutes.
Turn skewers; brush meat with sauce and broil 7 minutes longer.
Place skewers on hot platter; spoon remaining sauce over meat.
If desired, serve with parsley rice.
