Corned Beef Roast

Ingredients
  Corned beef brisket 4 1⁄2 Pound
Directions

Wash brisket.
Place on Microwave roasting rack in (12 x 8-inch) utility dish.
Sprinkle with spices, if desired.
Cover tightly with plastic wrap.
Microwave 2 minutes on HIGH.
Reduce setting.
Microwave 25 minutes on '5'.
Turn brisket over.
Cover.
Microwave 25 to 30 minutes on '6', or until meat is fork tender or internal temperature registers 155°.
Let stand 15 minutes, covered.
Note: Do not add water.
Do not use meat thermometer in Microwave oven.
Inverted saucer may be substituted for roasting rack.
For ovens without solid state heat control, Microwave 30 minutes on '5'.
Turn brisket over.
Microwave 30 to 36 minutes on '5'.
