Country Style Short Ribs
|All purpose flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Beef short ribs||3 1⁄2 Pound|
|Onion||1 Large, sliced|
|Green pepper||1 Medium, chopped|
|Tomato sauce||8 Ounce|
|Instant beef bouillon||1 Teaspoon, dissolved in 1 cup hot water|
|Hot water||1 Cup (16 tbs) (For Dissolving)|
|Dried parsley||2 Tablespoon|
|Dry mustard||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Worcestershire sauce||2 Teaspoon|
Combine flour, salt and pepper.
Coat short ribs with mixture.
Place ribs in 3-quart casserole.
Add onion, green pepper, tomato sauce, bouillon, parsley, mustard, vinegar and Worcestershire sauce.
Microwave 10 minutes on HIGH.
Microwave 20 to 30 minutes on '6', or until meat and vegetables are tender.
Let stand 10 minutes, covered.
Thicken gravy before serving, if desired.
