|Soy sauce||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Ginger root slices||4|
|Anise seeds/4 aniseed stars||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Sesame seed oil||1 Teaspoon|
Trim beef, and cover with water.
Bring to boil, and skim.
Add soy sauce, sugar, ginger, sherry and anise, and cook over medium heat about 2 hours.
Add sesame-seed oil, and cook about 20 minutes longer.
Slice meat, and serve hot or cold.
