Beef In A Blanket
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Minced onion||1 Teaspoon|
|Prepared biscuit mix||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Mushroom soup||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Canned peas||5 Ounce|
Brown ground beef and onion in small amount of fat in skillet.
Sprinkle beef with salt and pepper; break up with fork.
Combine biscuit mix and 2/3 cup milk; stir to blend.
Roll out on floured board 1/4 inch thick.
Drain excess fat from beef.
Spread mixture evenly over dough.
Roll up jelly roll fashion; moisten edges of dough with small amount of water.
Seal edges securely.
Brush top with butter.
Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes.
Mix soup, 1/3 soup can milk and peas; place over medium heat until heated through.
Slice meat roll; serve with soup mixture.
