Korean Food: Beef Deopbap (소고기 덮밥)

  Rice 3 Cup (48 tbs), cooked
  Onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Zucchini 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Carrot 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Green onions 2 Gram
  Button mushrooms 3 Gram
  Sweet peppers 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Optional)
  Hot peppers 2 Ounce (Optional)
Beef ingredients
  Beef 10 1⁄2 Ounce
  Onion 1⁄4 Medium, chopped
  Asian pear/Sweet apple 1⁄2 Medium, chopped
  Cooking wine 4 Tablespoon (Optional)
  Garlic 4 Clove (20 gm)
  Soy sauce 2 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Sesame oil 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Black pepper powder 3 Pinch
  Ginger powder 1 Pinch
Sauce ingredients
  Soy sauce 2⁄3 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Cooking oil 2 Tablespoon
  Sesame oil 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Sesame seeds 1 Teaspoon (for garnishing)
  Garlic 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Starch mixture
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Corn starch/Or potato starch 1 Tablespoon

1. On a chopping board, cut the beef into thin slices. Keep aside.
2. In a blender, add all the beef ingredients and blend into a fine paste.
3. Add this paste to the beef slices in a bowl, mix well and cover the bowl with cling film and marinate it in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
4. On the chopping, cut all the vegetables into bite sized pieces and keep aside.
5. Prepare the starch mixture by mixing the starch in water.

6. In a pan on medium high heat, add minced garlic and fry for 10 seconds on medium heat.
7. Add in the chopped onions, zucchini, carrots and sweet peppers and fry for 2 minutes on high heat.
8. Add the marinated beef pieces and the rest of the sauce ingredients, mix well and fry for 5 minutes on high heat.
9. Once the meat is half cooked, add the starch mixture and cook on medium high until the beef pieces are completely cooked.
10.Stir in the chopped mushrooms, green onions and hot peppers. Cook this for about 3 minutes on high heat.

11. On a serving plate, place a bowl of rice in the middle and ladle the beef curry on the rice and serve sprinkled with some sesame seeds
